Yes They Can Academy

The Yes They Can Academy is a virtual school established for the purpose of  helping  parents, teachers, and care-givers to appropriately address the needs of their children with learning and behaviour disorders to bring out the best in them.

The school is an outgrowth of the book “Yes They Can: Working with Children with Learning and Behaviour Disorders” published by Dr. Clara Ricketts in 2019. The book gives the story of the writer’s life experience in working with children with disabilities with specific reference to those with learning and behaviour disorders..

In her capacity of both parent and teacher of children with learning and behaviour disorders, and experiencing the struggles associated with these roles Dr. Ricketts seeks to  provide support for these parents, teachers, and care-givers by sharing her experience of  practical and effective strategies for working with these children.
